As a wood artist, designing tableware in collaboration with a chef is far more than creating an object; it is a creative dialogue between art and gastronomy.
A chef's precision, rhythm, and respect for ingredients constantly challenge me to rethink form, proportion, and function. Pushing the boundaries of creativity together, refining every millimetre, and witnessing food become one with the object is one of the most inspiring aspects of my practice.
This disciplined approach to gastronomy also enriches my sculptural work. It deepens my relationship with materials, strengthens my patience, and intensifies my search for form.
As a result of this collaborative approach, our Vespera Serving Set received the Silver A' Design Award in the Industrial Design category at the A' Design Award & Competition, Como, Italy.
