ACORNS OF JOY
Every beginning carries its own ending.
Every ending becomes the seed of a new beginning.
The acorn is one of nature's quietest vessels of memory. Within its small form, it holds both the past and the future, embodying the continuous cycle of life.
Cycle of Life brings together the warmth of carved wood and the fragile surface of ceramic within a single composition. Two distinct materials converge to express one enduring idea: transformation.
Each piece carries traces of time. Like an invisible bridge between what has been and what is yet to come, it reminds us that life is never linear, but an ongoing cycle of renewal.
This series was produced as a limited edition of 55, marking the artist's 55th year.
The ceramic forms were designed and created by Ece Kanışkan, while the wooden forms were designed and created by Kayhan Öztürk.
